In 2024, SixSides helped turn Laracon AU from a single event into a launchpad for lasting relationships. By combining thoughtful design with interactive features, the platform empowered attendees to connect more easily, share more freely, and stay engaged long after the final talk.

At Laracon AU, SixSides showed how technology can turn a one-off event into a thriving, lasting community. By bringing together all six key groups — Laravel enthusiasts, organisers, sponsors, speakers, attendees, and staff — our platform fostered deeper, more meaningful connections that extended far beyond the conference. Interactive features like our "Tag, You're It" networking game and content sharing tools helped break down social barriers, making it easier for everyone to participate — especially those who don't naturally gravitate toward networking.
The results were powerful: 385 attendees created over 7,800 connections, shared more than 1,400 photos, and 95 attendees rated their experience 5-stars. But the real impact was in the relationships that continued after the event, strengthening the Laravel community in Australia.
